Kalikopoi, it is not easy to pump and dump stocks that trade more than half million shares a day. Even if all of us buy at the same time I don't think our buying quantity will move the market.

What do you say about RXII?

From a technical point RXII does not look good, at this price and being this low it seems more like a lottery ticket. Personally I think it is better to buy on a pullback after the stock shows some strength.

what software is that alokd? what do you guys think about BABA , YHOO and oil stocks ?

I am using ThinkorSwim Platform from Ameritrade. I use it for long-term stock investment. For short-term that I don't do much I use Interactive Brokers. If you want to open an Ameritrade account see if you can find a friend that already has an account and have him/her refer you then your friend will get some referral fee, about $50 which isn't much but it still is money.

Since I do not look at fundamentals but just price action and technicals, BABA is no go for me. It's been in a downtrend since November and I stay away from those. YHOO looks good, but it had a nice run in the last 2 years, so I will want to see some consolidation at this level and strength after that which means it is a no-buy for me at this time.

Out of the 5 mentioned on the first post RADA, NEON and AMRN passed my first test, which means that I need to see it stay there for few more weeks and try to breakout after that. I will keep those on my watchlist.

Anyone in here who have been following Southwest Airlines or 3M stocks? I would be keen to know from investors/traders who are bearish or bullish on these stocks.

I wish an old sajha user called "Eminitrader" would join the threads of such topics. Now I understand that he had a lot of knowledge about technicality of trading stocks. I hope you are doing great wherever you are, Eminitrader! :)

Anyone buy ALU last week? It was up 7% yesterday and up another 7% pre-market today. Seems like they are going to merge part of the business with Nokia.

How do you guys single out those companies. I am a newbie and all I hear are the big companies like AAPL in news. Is there any place good to start to filter out stocks that have higher margin for growth?

Currently I hold position on
NEON in at yesterday's dip at 3.75 for long
AMRN at 2.50 for long

SOLD RADA at 2.8 was in at 2.36 (too volatile but strongly holds around 2.50 Will buy again in 2.40 range)

Will Jump in RXII for short term if available at 0.68

I too am novice in this field. But gain some knowledge, learn terminologies and then only jump into it. Its slow cooking process.

ALU took a big hit today. Looks like ALU shareholders are getting NOK shares and NOK hasn't been able to breakout. I think it is a bad deal for ALU shareholders since all comm. equipment companies are breaking out.
