A lot of what stops people from pursuing success is their fear that they may fail and not reach their destination. When we embrace the fact that we will fail, and that is okay, then we have nothing to fear anymore. Instead, we keep our eyes open and pick ourselves up, adjust from the failure, and move on...

A little boy wanted to meet God.

He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with Twinkies and a six-pack of root beer and he started his journey.

When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old woman.

She was sitting in the park just staring at some pigeons.

The boy sat down next to her and opened his suitcase.

He was about to take a drink from his root beer when he
noticed that the old lady looked hungry, so he offered her a Twinkie.

She gratefully accepted it and smiled at him. Her smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered her a root beer. Again, she smiled at him. The boy was delighted!

They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word. As it grew dark, the boy
realized how tired he was and he got up to leave,

but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old woman, and gave her a hug. She gave him her biggest smile ever.

When the boy opened the door to his own house a short time later,

his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him, "What did you do today that made you look so happy?"

He replied, "I had lunch with God." But before his mother could respond, he added, "You know what? She's got the most beautiful smile I've ever seen!"

Meanwhile, the old woman, also radiant with joy, returned to her home.

Her son was stunned by the look of peace on her face and asked, "Mother, what did you do today that made you so happy?" She replied, "I ate Twinkies in the park with God."

However, before her son responded, she added, "You know, he's much younger than I expected." Too often we underestimate the power of a touch,! ! a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. Remember,

we don't know what God will look like. People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. Embrace all equally!

A water bearer in china had two large pots,each hung
on the ends of a pole which he carried across his
neck.One of the pots had a crack in it,while the other
pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of
water.At the end of the long walk from the stream to
the house,the cracked pot arrived only half full.For a
full two years this went on daily,with the bearer
delivering only one and a half pots full of water to
his house.

Of course,the perfect pot was proud of its
accomplishments,perfect for which it was made.But the
poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own
imperfection.And miserable that it was able to
accomplish only half of what it had been made to do.

After two years of what it preceived to be a bitter
failure,it spoke to the water bearer one day by the
stream."I am ashamed of myself ,and I want to
apologize to you.I have been able to deliver only half
of my load because this crack in my side causes water
to leak out all the way back to your house.Because of
my flaws,you have to do all of this work and you don't
get full value from your efforts"the pot said .

The bearer said to the pot,"Did you notice that there
were flowers only on your side of the path but not on
the other pot's side?That's because I have always
known about your flaw.So I planted flower seeds on
your side of the path,and everyday while we walk
back,you've watered them.For two years I have been
able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the
table.
Without you being just the way you are,there would not
be this beauty to grace the house?

Moral:Each of us has our own unique flaws.We're all
cracked pots.
Remember to appreciate all the different people in
your life
