it depend on one's personal preference, taste and need. For me it's an optional. I have no problem to see some organizations of Nepali origin here.

Wateva, Khaobaadi, yes, if it had been an Indian webasieet, we would need a new server to get thread like this going. For Chinese, one server should do since they all are either Kim, Chang, Lee, and Kang. We could send them mass congratualtion mail.

Yes they do... but they dont start websites listing who gave birth to whom in what part of the world... Sadly, they are much smarter than that. If you want to improve mentality why dont you just start by helping out of one your fellow countryperson when he/she most needs it... Might make you a better person overall! Just might improve your mentality too...

Besides appreciating each others' achivements, the very Indians also have god damn mentality to snipe at each other from a well camoflaged bush.

I agree with Merojageer; they do appreciate. But Khaobadi seems to be too briliiant not to understand this simple thing; we're not talking about appreciating the birth of babies but the achievements. Their society even give the awards like young achivement (e.g. the one can get it if he's the youngest among the indian community to get the faculty position) or other awards in different disciplines. This will also help to create a network among people like any other conferences. But this is very menial for the people like khaobadi et al. who has already got enlightenment. Please, we're mundane people who lives humdrum life.
