Manab I do nothave any problem against anyone's belief. I ask these questions in order for me to understand Christianity better. I have been to many different Churches from Charismatic, Orthodox, Reformed Christian, Catholic, Baptist(they were the most easy going) etc etc. When I went to these places and asked the questions I had they told me that you have to have faith. How can you faith faith in something you don't even know.. All of them were like who are you to question the Bible ? Now you tell me...as an educated person how can you learn when you cannot even question(forget trust).

Well I do not believe in evolution at all because I think it takes more faith to believe that every single complexed little thing in this entire universe and how it has so much order all came out of chaos which is nothing and basically created itself. Thats why I believe in God. but if you dont then that is your choice and I am okay with that. The discussion is not over.

Oh and bathroom I am not in the 700 Club! Funny joke though! And No i do not speak in toungues at all and do not believe in doing that at all. The Bible pretty much talks about speaking in toungues as pointless and wrothless and ussually fake and made up. I dont believe in speaking in toungues.

And by the way i think that if you dont question the teachings people teach you then you are blidnly following a religion. I dont think that is the right thing to do. As for me I grew up in church and became a Christian at a young age, but when I grew up and got older I questioned my faith. I even denied God and didnt believe he existed. but i kept comming back to it only because it makes so much sense to me. I struggled a lot, but now I finally choose Christ and accept it as truth for me.
If you want to be a Christian you should question it and find out information about it. If you really are seeking to find answers to life and seeking to find God all you have to do is ask God. Just try it. God will answer you and will speak to your heart and move you to follow Him. This is only for the willing people. God only will answer a truthfully willing heart who is seeking Him. God will prove Himself to you if you want Him to.

According to BIBLE we are made from the image of god right ? So when god kills us he is also killing himself right ? For that there is no punishment ? Why do we have to fear god ? I thought Christianity was about love, peace and harmony. ANYTHING GOD DOES IS JUSTIFIED ? Even killing just because they are not Christian(LIKE THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO LIVE ?) ? well God commands us not to kill anyone. I fyou knew the character of God you would know God isnt going to go around killing people who are good. God doesnt just randomly kill people unless there is a very important reason.

Most of the time people die to their own sins anyway. God just gives people up to their lusts and then natural things occur and the people die. God isnt planning to kill everyone, he wants people to turn from their sins and get forgivness by Him. He wants people to follow Him and fellowship with him.

And no God is not killing himself if he kills a human. An image is not the same as a actual being. The image of God means that humans are in the same shape and likeness of God, not that they are gods.

I was born in a hindu family, so I am hindu by default. But I believe in no savior or destroyer idea watsoever. I read a lot of Bhatwat Geeta and any Buddhist religious book I can find cause they give me a basis to base my thoughts and help me develop my understanding of moral right and wrong. I do not want to change to other religion because I do not know much about them and neither have I read good things about them.

I do not believe in any religion that believes in someone called GOD. It might sound contradicting, yet it is not. If you go deeper in Hindu belief it boils down to Vedic lifestyle of self-discipline, and for Budhism it is understanding oneself and emancipating yourself from illusions. They believe in pursuing the real happiness. Hindu does it through stories, the actors of which it seems ppl mistake for gods and demons. So for unorthodoxed ppl like me, there are no god in either of the religions.

I choose this attitude, because I see no purpose of God in my life. I have hope and that suffices the need of having something in desperate times. I see no reason why I should live in some unknown dude's mercy at all the time, give credit of my good doings and bad doings to it; it just seems like a respectable and easy way of shying away from taking responsibility for ones actions.

Yet I go to temple, and take part in religious activities because it makes my parents and my granny happy. It does not cost me too much to do those things compared to the benefit I get in form of satisfaction by making ppl I love happy.

God has a charecter ? Like us humans ? Killing is killing be it good or bad. What important reason those peole at the foot of Mt Sainai perished for ? Idol worshiping ? You don't see it from your human side that its fair to kill someone bcause of their belief ? So its ok for you go kill some because they are not Christian and ask for God's forgiveness and evrything will be happy and dandy ? Isen't Jesus called Son of god ? Since he lived amongst us, I think its fair to say Jesus was like us. Which in turn bring Us the humans in the same level as god...is it not. Like we we kill someone(by accident or purposedly), we have to face the consiquence(goto jail, or death) but when god kills its ok ? Once again goes against THOU SHALT NOT KILL.

And besides, my home computer is on the blink and the Dell guys tell me they are sending over some parts to be replaced. so for a few days, library jindabad.
