Hi

I’m going to Toronto, Canada for a visa interview on the second week of March. I will be applying in temporary working visa(H1-B) category. To all those who have done this, could you please post how many days it took to get the passport back after the interview?

I can’t decide my return air ticket date.

You help is greatly appreciated!

Usually they ship the passport to a canadian address, but if you are going to Canada just for the visa, they make an exception and let you collect the visa at the consular's office the next day.
That is what I recall from my experience. But don't hesitate to call and make sure.

Best of Luck!

It was just over a year ago.

Visit the website http://canada.usembassy.gov/consulates/toronto.html to see their contact information.

Calling them would be best.
