According to a new survey of scientists, business leaders and technology developers done by Pew Internet, the Internet which we do not feel like it, actually making us smarter.

In that online survey a collection of 895 technology stakeholders were asked their views on how the Internet is affecting us now and will affect on society, politics and economy by 2020.

Altogether 76% of these experts agreed that the Internet has enhanced human intelligence as people are allowed unprecedented access to more information they become smarter and make better choices.

brianAccording to some experts, "The resources of the internet and search engines will shift cognitive capacities. We won’t have to remember as much, but we’ll have to think harder and have better critical thinking and analytical skills. Less time devoted to memorization gives people more time to master those new skills."

Similarly, 65% of them agreed that internet has enhanced and improved reading, writing and the rendering of knowledge. Likewise, 80% of the expert believed that the hot gadgets and applications that will capture the imaginations of users in 2020 will often come out of the blue. Some experts viewed that reading and writing will be different in 10 years. There will be a new fluidity in media creation, visual representation and story telling.
Now what do u think, are Google and  wikipedia making us more stupid or making more intelligent.
