सम्विधान निर्माण को प्रकृया मा भएको हाम्रो देश नेपाल ले आहिले धेरै चुनौती हरुको सामना गर्नुपरेको छ । यस्तो समयमा सन्सार भरी रहेका हामी नेपाली हरुले आफ्नो आफ्नो आस्था र बिचार जे जस्तै भएतापनि, खुला मनले देश को प्रतिनिधित्व गर्न आउनुभएका, सर्वदलिय प्रधानमन्त्री को भ्रमण माथि गौरव गरेका छौ ।
यस्तो आवसरमा हामी अमेरिका मा रहेका नेपालीहरुले आफ्नो तितोपना "कालो झन्डा" को प्रदर्शन मार्फत होईन कि, "छलफल को चौतारी"को माध्यम बाट व्यक्त गर्नुमानै बुद्दिमता देखिन्छ ।
त्यसैले, "कालो झन्डा" र अवरोध कार्यक्रम का आयोजक महोदयहरुलाई मेरो यो अनुरोध छ कि, उक्त कार्यक्रम स्थगित गर्दै, छलफल र सुझाव को कार्यक्रम राखेर अमेरिका मा रहेका सम्पूर्ण इचछुक नेपालीहरुलाई अन्तर्कृयामा सामेल गराउदै, देश निर्माण मा सहयोग जुटाउन आनुरोध गर्दछु ।
I, along with few good nepali friends, have decided to provide free drinks and snacks for the duration of yr protest program. I urge to all nepali residents here in USA to donate drinks and snacks for our great protestors. You can bring stuffs in-person or mail it if possible to protestors home address which will be provided in near future with the help of Homeland Security.

Tribhuvan University is holding three convocation ceremonies this year to make up for those it failed to host in the past three years due to political disturbances. When Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal visited the university's main campus in Kirtipur for its 34th convocation ceremony today, he was greeted with black flags by Maoist cadres who also pelted his motorcade with stones.
The protesters tried to block the PM from attending the ceremony. Police charged them with batons, but some Maoist cadres entered the convocation venue and chanted slogans as soon as he started his address to the students.
The Maoists have announced a nationwide protest to pressurise the government to table a resolution in Parliament against the President's move to reinstate the army chief last year, which they have been calling 'unconstitutional'.
They have been boycotting official functions involving the President, the Prime Minister and other ministers.
"It is said that education should pass through their character," Nepal said. "They seem to lack morality." He also complained about the growing culture of anarchy in the country's universities.
On Monday, the Maoists tried to block President Ram Baran Yadav from attending a function in Pokhara. The day before, they tried to prevent the PM from attending Purbanchal University's convocation ceremony in Biratnagar.

It was funny Obama. I was like you are another Maoist making comment and at the end I see what you are referring as snacks and drinks. I will definitely help you in this noble cause, and will have more people involved in this. I am interested in Nepali politics but hate all the the political parties of Nepal especially Giri-Ja ko "BHARATIYA CONGRESS PARTY and MAOISTS". I was hoping this government will do some good, but all my hope is gone. When you can not even provide security to your PM in Nepal and Police gets beat up real bad (referring to the photo of Nepal Police lying on the ground and MAOISTS kicking him few weeks back). That picture looked real bad.
KALO JHANDA ORGANIZERS
If you think, this government is not helping our country move forward, then you should blame MAOISTS first. They are the main culprits for what is happening in our once used to be one of the PEACEFUL NATION in the world. Now it is the FOOL'S NATION of people like KALO JHANDA ORGANIZERS. They can not say they are MAOISTS here in this country, so they are saying they do not approve of what this govt is doing and protesting. They know they will be deported to have any affiliation with the MAOISTS. These are the same people supporting MAOISTS and filing asylum saying MAOISTS tortured them. To me, I am a Nepali Citizen first and then comes NC, CPN, MAOISTS or NONE of THE ABOVE. I am ready to turn MAOISTS too, if they will lead our Nation to Peace, Prosperity and Oppurtunity. Why would anybody want to work here for $1500-2000 per month?? I would rather be happy with Rs 40000-50000 in nepal with my family. This is the situation Maoists have created and divided Nepali families all over the world. Wake up organizers, help instead of destroy our country's name. Unite Nepalese all over the world for a good cause instead of divide. I bet there will be no photos available of those taking part in this Jhanda program. Just man up and post your pictures here, I will make sure you will be helped after that.

Being combative verbally with this sorts of abstracted moronics is a waste of our awful time. Let's get it straight. Why don't we plead someone to carry a white flag with a white fabric in his body. As ministers admit that international goals to tackle maternal and child mortality are "significantly off track", Gordon Brown is preparing to lead a push at the UN to scrap health charges in countries from Nepal to Sierra Leone.
The plans come amid warnings from aid groups that half a million women die needlessly during childbirth or pregnancy in the developing world each year.
Barbara Stocking, the chief executive of Oxfam, described the deaths as "deplorable", saying that they could be avoided through relatively small investments.
Douglas Alexander, the international development secretary, says progress on the millennium development goals on maternal and child mortality is "significantly off track". The goals – to reduce mortality by 75% – are meant to be met by 2015.
In a Guardian interview, Alexander said that he and Brown will lead a renewed push at the UN general assembly in New York later this month to scrap health 'user fees'.
Alexander has negotiated deals with a group of African leaders and the World Bank. As a result, free healthcare will be introduced or extended in Nepal – where a newborn baby dies every 20 minutes – Burundi, Sierra Leone and Malawi.
