MJF ready to support future Maoist govt: Yadav

Coordinator of the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF) Upendra Yadav

Coordinator of the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF) Upendra Yadav has pledged support to the would-be government led by the CPN (Maoist).

Yadav said this while addressing a function in Lahan of Siraha district on Wednesday. There has not been any deliberation within the party on whether to join the next government.

The MJF chief also said that his party wants to improve the relationship with the Maoists. The two parties are at odds for quite a long time, and the relations worsened after 27 Maoist cadres were killed in a deadly massacre in Rautahat in March 2007 which, the Maoists claim, was incited by the MJF.

Having received surprisingly positive results in the constituent assembly polls, the MJF has emerged as a major political force in Terai and appears to have gained a bargaining power as the future Maoist government will need strong coalition support.

That is the reason why he is a politician. Politics is a game and we people are like pawns to them.  It is similar to chess where you can sacrifice other pawns to win the game.  Objective of the game is to always have some kind power.

There are no friends or enemies in politics. That is why it is called 'politics is a dirty game". I during 1990s, Girija said there is no way he will support or wanted to get supported' by cumminist (UML). Now he wanted extrime cummunist (maoist)'s support to run the govt. before CA.

Dont' be surprised if Maoists want to keep Gyanendra, if something goes wrong (god forbids) later or just to be in power.

Don't you see in Kenya recently, two rivals shook their hands to have a joint govt., after killings 1500 innocent people.

Lets hope for the best for the sake of our beautiful nation.
