Hi all- I am going to Nepal using Turkish airlines via Istanbul. My status is H1B (GC being processed). The visa eligibility that on my passport has expired but I have EAD/advance parole card approved which is what I am planning to use while traveling. Now I've heard many complaints about Turkish airlines service being not upto customer satisfactory, which I plan to overlook given the fact that I loooked for cheapest tickets. Now has anybody has any problem with their visa/documents in Istanbul? Or has anybody traveled with A/P via Istanbul? I'd appreciate your feedback/experience. TIA

There are many past threads about this topic. You might wanna search that. I do not have personal experience but what I heard is that Turkish Airlines do not treat Nepalese well. हावा नलागी पात हल्लदैन I Good luck.

From my experience: Stay away from Turkey.....unless there is a accompanying plate of mashed potatoes...

म जनुअरी मा नेपाल गको थिए तुर्किश बाट, माई एक्ष्पेरिएन्स वास एक्ष्चेल्लेन्त (Excellent). Luckily, kehi pani problem vhayena. Staffs were friendly, Flight was on time, Food was good. US to ist and ist to US ko plane was sano and less space. Fight to and from ktm was spacious. मैले पनि धेरै नराम्रो रिविउ सुनेको थिए, तर केहि प्रोब्लेम भएन !!! Farkida chai i just had 1hr 50 mins transit, so i had to rush to get to my gate. Otherwise, my experience with turkish airlines was excellent. गूद लक् !!!

Why do you worry to pay $100 more on other airlines ? Is it worth being cheap when you travel once in a year or decade ? I like Qatar airways.
