“ You look at that river gently flowing by. You notice the leaves rustling with the wind. You hear the birds; you hear the tree frogs. In the distance you hear a cow. You feel the grass. The mud gives a little bit on the river bank. It’s quiet; it’s peaceful. And all of a sudden, it’s a gear shift inside you. And it’s like taking a deep breath and going, "Oh yeah, I forgot about this." ”

Al Gore was on CNN shortly after this movie-doc was released and he was grilled for his energy bill which was above $2,450 for a month prior to the interview. Funny ain't it that here on the one hand we have him talk about preserving and conserving energy and on the other, his home uses the same amount of energy as 20 other average US homes would (http://urbanlegends.about.com/od/government/a/al_gore_energy.htm). Damn politicians, what more can you expect outta these idiots.

If you're into such topics, read Reg Morrison's "The Spirit in the Gene", perhaps the most cited book on preservation of the ecology/the planet's untimely destruction by doomsday foretellers and the EPA.
