I got mine in three months, but that was under EB1 NOT EB2. I have heard that you can get it in 5-6 months even under EB2 if your employer is sponsoring you as a highly qualified professional (i.e. you have at least a Master's degree).
Good luck.

Anyone know if you can get GC through EB2 by ONLY having Masters degree from US.
Don't you need to have any work experience? I called up my law office & spoke to a para legal and was told if you have Masters + 2 years work experience than I have 80% chance of being filed under EB2 category.

Anyone out here got GC through EB2 with 'prior' Zero work exp & Only Masters degree?

I wish I will get mine in 5-6 months. But that would be too much to expect. Just filed Labor on 02/01/2007 under EB2.
I have a friend whose labor under EB2 got approved in 15 days.
I am applying as Master from US and 3 yrs US experience. But getting hard time collecting experience letter since all my previous experience are contract jobs. I have letters from consulting company but they don't mention my responsibilities and tools I have used.
How important is it to have experience letter while applying in EB2?
