You did not tell when her visa expires. IOf she has VISA, all she needs is to get her I-20 approved. If her visa is expired, then it is different story.

Hi and,
the story goes like this we entered US in a visitor visa i got admitted in a school and filed for a change of status which luckly was approved with our new status F1 n F2.for both of us with the approved I 20 they gave us a new set of I-94 too. The Visa with which we entered US is valid until 2011.

=> No. The Visa you used to enter the US expired on the day you changed from B1/B2 to F1/F2.

If you changed your status here in US, then she needs to have her F-2 visa stampped before she enters in US. If you have done that somewhere else and if your I20 and her visa is valid, then it wont be any problem. But I suggest to carry "your statust verification letter" from the international office. Note that again, if you have only the status changed, but not the visa stampped in her passport, she needs that one to be done.

Good-Luck

You also mentioned that you are on F1 right now, which means you are enrolled at an educational institute. Simple just talk to the person or office within the institution that issued your I20. They should have a better idea.

This is from my experience ( Now it might be different) To enter in US, she needs to have her F-2 visa in her passport. She needs to go through the application process again. She needs to apply for F-2 visa in american embassy. She needs to have her dependent I-20 and your financial support documents again. As you were suggested before, I suggest you to talk to your international advisor. S/he is the one who knows the best.

Good-Luck

I think the strongest proof will be the approval of your application for change of status in the US. Since your status is already approved and you have a valid I-20 (I don't know if you have to surrender your I-94 when flying out of the country). You must get your passport stamped with a new visa before entering the US, however, the following documents will make the process very easy and visa is (almost) guaranteed.

1. Valid I-20
You must a new travel I-20 with a signature of your international advisor. If your I-20 is more than one year old, never go out of the country with your your original I-20. Before your international office issues a travel I-20, they need your bank statement and every other document you normally would present at the consular office in Nepal.

2. Notice of Action (I-797) that your change of status from B1/B2 to F1/F2 has been approved.

3. New I-94 after change of status

Please follow every steps prescribed by your international education office.
