I am writing this article not for me to be viewed as a chauvinist but out of compassion for the struggle that the female gender is staring in the name of feminism. Lets begin with the functionality of gender in the society. God has created two genders with individual social responsibilities. They have their own chemical, biological and hence physical limitations on each other. A man is not given the physical ability to reproduce while he is capable of more strenuous work. The "equality of the genders" needs to be an understanding that comes through education and not through a social mob struggle.

By fighting for the so called rights, I pity the women who are doubling their efforts of existence. They cannot dispense their motherly instincts. At some point of time they need a man in their life. They need to think about a family as a conviction for a social living. Having said that about women, I also stress the need for a women in a man's life. The man needs her more than a woman needs him. The existence is mutual. No one is superior to the other.

I do not say that women should not go to school. Education is the only means that people can understand the idea of equality. The priority is what matters. For a women, and her smooth living , the social responsibility needs more attention than her corporate personality. A women in social responsibility fills the position of her partner's mother to pour affection, a sibling that can understand his anger vents and above all be a good partner too. When the adaptation needs quite a substantial amount of time, the smoothness of the operation is hindered by the choice of pursuing corporate goals. Is it not double work now for the women? Work for a company and work for the family...? The struggle seems to me like a means of escaping family responsibility more than struggle for equality.

I see the "career" women affecting the society in two ways. They will not be satisfied with equality. They ask for more. A female manager in the Fortune #7 looks for a partner in Fortune #1.As an effect, not only have they contributed to the increase in competition towards the survival of the fittest but have mounted more pressure on the the more responsible gender of the society. The other aspect is their neglect of the social responsibility that soon vents out as frustration. From the aspect of the males, they need to view it as a responsibility to house a family and not restrict the freedom of his dependents. Its difficult but I perceive it smoother than the struggle.

There is one understanding and everything else will fall in place.

:D...I ofcourse, have attacked mr. Don.Corleone, because, he was being too disrespectful towards womankind. And I don't feel sorry for doing that, cause it's the question of my dignity. If you don't believe me, pease scroll up and read all his posts. I don't attack anyone for nothing, for valid reasons I don't stop myself. An offence is a valid enough crime case. If you don't believe me, ask any lawyer. Yes, he had OFFENDED women. and those were my natural response for the OFFENCE!!!

Udashi,
Thanks for your kind concern. I have dealt with people who have been to vipassena for years, who yet don't know what kindness is. I would most definitely go at one time in my life. I don't have doubts about vipassena, but have doubts on people who have evil in their minds(and yet don't know they have it). I believe in psychotherapy more than vipassena.

sajhauser,
Instead of resorting to name calling and blabbering what I must say rubbish, it would be nicer for us and in your part to come up with some valid/logical/scientific arguments. If you hold the potential of changing others' lives for betterment, for sure, what you write here should hold logics, right? All I have read from you so far is nothing but gibberish!

hehe.. Don.Corleone :D,

okay! yes, I gibbered to you, because what you've written so far is infact gibberish. Garbage in, garbage out :D Few people had patience to repond to your gibbers, but yet, you didn't even try understand what they were trying to say. I would have said the same thing. But why waste my time trying to expalin things to you? ha? When you're not even ready to listen and you've already made up your mind on the way you think?

A person who doesn't listen, never learns! Don.Corleone, first learn to have some patience. You're not a woman, so you don't know what kind of social pressure they have to go thru in the first place. So you don't make statements about them without knowing, okay!

This is what I am talking all about...Just look at how this thread has changed...the men are making the women angry because they know how to do that. but at the same time they are also experiencing fun from this.So there is no point talking about these things. After few days this thread will die and men will get on with their lives. they will forget about the career women and their problems.Men will always be men.So women should not waste time in shuch threads, every second is valuable. Instead they should think about how they can get their next promotion. If u want a family adopt. Don't worry be happy

The fact that mine or anybody's level of maturity is being measured by you, Don, is definitely a sign of maturity on your part. Anyway, since you seem to have opinions that cannot be changed - again, a definite sign of maturity umm rather "old age", I, for one, would hate to take off that pair of glasses. My parting thought is, if you are that rigid in opinion and ideas, why post something that would draw reaction from all kinds.

Please refrain from making judgemental condescending comments - thank you.

Suna,

Although this topic is almost exhausted by now, I would appreciate to listen to your say. Give me some solace with arguments. I have my ears fully open, I use ear buds everyday :).
