Shere Punjab?? ImI, you kidding?? You refer a restaurant like that to someone who is going Chicago for food. It's so cheap and ugly, never ever go there other than to fart.
Tiffin definitely a good choice.

Thanks Slipknot. If you are who I think you are, a mutual friend of our's used to give me gift certificate to The Rivers - fancy spancy place in downtown Chicago right on Chicago river. The woodfired steak there was the best I have ever had.

So yes, I should recommend that place too.

"The Rivers"
Best for woodfired steak. But quite an expensive dig, around $35 for a steak dinner. With drinks, tax and tip, your bill could reach easily around $70 per person. That's way out of my league, but once in a while at special occasion, this is definitely a place to have a meal.

ss74k, points well taken. But I stick with Nepali, indian and chinese along with mexican food while I am travelling because I know they taste good and I like it.

But it's a personal preference.

Sgy: Gift Certificate offer is still on. Visit mteverestrestaurant.com and email me your mailing address. :)

Why so descrimination on food .Food is food Dhoti food and changre food re.hahaha
Don't you eat nepali food everyday!!!may be not but i am sure you are more used to nepali then chinese or indian. Then again the creator is specfily asking for chinese and indian. If she had asked nepali then would think that make sense to recommend nepali resturant.

Nevermind, personal 'riis' justo cha ni. As far as I know, the owner of the Restaurant is super nice guy. Food is also good.

Same goes for the Himalayn food and the owners.

Just letting Punti know that there are couple of Nepalese Restaurants in Chicago. Non personal IMI, seem to love Indian food, well good for you. Lots of places dont have "Nepalese" so thought Punti could visit those. I believe she is in Chicago for the weekend so as usual Nevermind.

I agree with nevermind when he said owners of Nepelese restaurnats suck. Slipknot, You should be either the owner or the relatives of them to say they are nice. I've heard that they exploit the fellow Nepali workers there very much.
I have visited them and found the food to be delicious. Anyway I recommend to have food in any of those restaurnats. You don't really have to see or speak with the owners as such.

Amriteeeeeeeeeee
