I and my wife are both in F1 visa. Our daughter is 3 and half and she is still in Nepal. I am planning on F2 paperwork for her and bring her over in summer. My wife is getting depressed and I have to do it.
My younger sister, 22, +2 pass and a kindergarten teacher is in Nepal. I am planning to bring my sister over here along with my daughter so that she can work as a baby sitter and take care of our daughter at the same time.

I know I can bring my daughter in F2 dependent but, how do I bring my sister here? I also heard that you can bring someone to look-over the child and also heard about sponsoring process.
Could any one help me out?

There is a special visa categoru for "Au Pairs" i.e baby istter which you should look into to see if it is feasible for you to bring in your sister under that category.

Here's some information I was able to gather on the "Au Pair" visa:

In order to legally become an au pair in the US it is necessary for an individual to obtain a J1 Visa. In order to get this visa, an au pair has to go through one of the eleven government designated au pair agencies. With this visa, au pairs may work for a family as an au pair for 12 months and may apply to stay for an extra month in order to travel round the US. However, after that time the au pair is expected to return to their home country. Also, in order to work as an au pair in the US, an au pair must produce a certificate of health, a certificate of good conduct and experience in the field of child care.

You can't do this. They will not give your sister a visa to be your nanny. Au Pairs can be obtained from Europe, but they cost money. Your best hope is that they give your sister a visitor visa good for 6 months, but if she is young and single they probably won't. It is not even worth the application fee to try. But bring that baby! Make it work. alternate your class schedules, do what you can. Your family should be together. Good Luck.

Currenlty, Au pair Visa is not available for Nepal. The best method would be to invite over your sister to visit you in B-1/B-2 as a tourist visa, that way she will get a 5 years multiple entry visa and the port of entry will give her 6 months permit to stay. for this you or your husband can submit an affidavit of support for financial and other liabilities while she is here.
Every 6 months, before her visa expires, she can go to mexico or Canada and renter for another 6 months respectively for the remaining period of her visa.

Another option for her, after she is here is to change her status to a F-1 student , that will provide her a valid duration of status, LEGALLY.

santoshgiri is asking the question and answering it himself? What's the deal here?

By the way, anyone with visitor visa can always petition to renew the stay for another 6 month period by applying directly to USCIS. You just have to do it 45 days prior to the expiration of your stay period and pay $200. No need to go to Canada or Mexico, which I think is bit risky.

Yes you can bring your child in F2 visa. You can not bring your sis as a baby sitter. You can not sponsor anybody since you are in F1 status. You can find a baby sitter here. Pls email me for further consultation. Akatwalifegood@aol.com. Thanks

invite her over for a month or so, send her affidavit of financial support, an invitation letter and tell her to apply for tourist visa. she needs to show strong connection with nepal assuring that she will return. once she is here, she is all yours! send her to mexico or canada before every i-94 expiry for vacation and reenter. or may be she would like to join some school. if yes, at the port of entry, she should declare the officials that she intends to join school, if she finds appropriate one. you may as well send her a list of schools. this way her b-1 to f-1 change of status would be far too easy.
