its the next big thing. It used to be people power (1990 in nepal :) and then girl power and then women power (still is :) . Then came Power to the music (Motley Crue, 19sth :) But cyber power is very slowly flexing its muscle. Google: who wouldnt want to be on the top when people all over the world google something? what abt the million dollar homepage man? People are carzy enuf to pay millions of dollars just to have their company name written in small letters in some cool-sounding website. Songs are being voted on the internet. downloaded songs have a huge bearing on the songs that hit the charts. Miss world is voted over the internet.
I read a joke where beggars were banking on cyber power or something. They come up with a cool name like E-beg.com and next thing they know, Microsoft approaches them for a strategic alliance :)
So much so that so many bands also depend on cyber power to remain on top. Bands like Nickelback, Pearl Jam , Black eyed peas etc etc all depend on interent to gain that extra edge. For example, just have a look on the following site and you will see Pearl Jam on the frens list of a crap band called mahisasur coz they dont want to piss off people.
