USA has been presurrizing Nepal to return to so-called democracy.

But now, Hamas is a democratically elected party who has a majority in the Palestininian parliament. But Bush is saying that Hamas is "a party with which we will not deal" unless ... and attaches some conditions.

What is this now? C'mon, Hamas is the choice of the people in the given region for what it is. Why can not America respect people's choice in this particular case?

Because Hamas is recognized internationally as a terrorist organization. The U.S. gov't says it does not negotiate with terrorist. Hamas cannot continue terrorist activities i.e. sending suicide bombers into Jewish controlled areas and expect to be able to represent the Palestinian people at the UN and other world organizations.
