In a press statement, Prachanda said his party would carry out protest programs at the district level, in phases, throughout the truce period. As part of the protests, a massive publicity campaign would be spearheaded, among others, in favour of party?s key demands ? an interim government, election to the constituent assembly and a republican setup.

He claimed that the protest programs were being launched in order to resolve the problems facing the people and the nation and pledged to cooperate the political parties in their agitations in Maoist-controlled areas.

Prachanda?s statement further said talks with agitating political parties and civil society representatives for a joint movement would be initiated soon. nepalnews.com mk Sept 07 05

I don't think we nepalese to be blamed for this pathetic Nepalese situation.... Actually the real people to be blamed are no one else than these political parties, Maobadis, Rajabadis, Raja and source force walas.

If they all become one with common agenda being the development and peace of Nepal... perhaps we would not have to say that Indians are affecting Nepal... Nope.. it's because of our Netas we are being mistreated by indians.

100% agreed Premdai. United we stand. Divided we fall.

we were never truely represented by these so called Netas of various political parties !!! We might have voted them.... but they did not fulfil their part... they never acted truely being our representatives....

Loophole is, there is no good easy way these elected MPs could be recalled...

Results were: A vagabond asshoole from one constituency gets elected as MPs, and the system allows him to be PM of the country and before he can be removed, that Modafu*Cker would have already cuased enough harm to whole Nepal (perhaps not to his own constituency) and Nepaelse democracy.

This is what multi party democrarcy makes it happen in the country like Nepal that has more uneducated soja sajha janata.
