How the hell did you guys determine MVP? Organizor weren't even on the filed to watch the full game. Just because some team won the game doesn't mean their players deserves the MVP. Ny was just lucky to get the panelty, otherwise, Mn had the full control of the game from begining to the end. I was there to watch the final between Ny and MN, honestly, guy playing from right wing from MN deserves the MVP( can't remember the jersy no) . He was young & small and to fast and quick then rest of the players on the field. Nobody was able to catch him when he had the ball. i am saying this because i was one of the spectator on the game and neither i am from MN. So, organizor be precise when you award the MVP.
Ps: Dallas Sports event was one of the worst event in ANA history.

Bhan001,

Why could not he score a single goal if he was that fast? coz ny defense was able to shutdown him. Defense can't get MVP?

bhan000q,

I don't know which planet you just arrived from, but here the MVP trophy is always awarded to the best player in the winning team. Winning matters and thats what determines the true champions from the wannabes. Also, the guy from NY awarded the MVP was the guy who was all over the field (something which only your failing vision couldn't see). His speed was extraordinarily quick and his stamina was second to none. And fianlly, he was the guy who shut down the right winger from MN. Unlike you, I wasn't a silent spectator and was on the field! Any self-respecting man has to learn to give props where its due

PS: Were you in your right frame of mind when you said that MN had full control of the game? Did you not see the amount of opportunites missed by NY? Refering to you failing vision again, for instance; in the 1st half, did you clearly not see the goalkeeper beaten when one of the shots NY struck richocheted off the post?

Whatever be the case, NYNYC are the ANA champions and the rest of the haters out there can kiss my a$$!! See you next year in NYC...peace out!!

Guys,

The ANA fever is still on..... good. I was there to see couple of soccer games too. All the teams were good and talented in their own way. I heard few of the players played for NYNYC were from Connecticut. There were couple of good players from NY, maybe they are the one from Conn. Is it true that NYNYC lost some players from Midfield and forward position and that is why they imported some players from the neighbor state??? Maybe just a rumour! or maybe a truth.... Does anyone knew about it????
Minnesota was a good team too. Cheers to all the players from all the teams.

MN Fan!

Are you out of your mind bro, Who says MVP is only awarded to winning team. You need to do some research before you open your mouth bro. Any sports MVP is given based on the players peformance throught the tournament , not just one game. What about Steve Nash? Did he win any championship? Or Ronaldino who was awarded Fifa MVP 2005. Oh ya your player was so fast that you need to make some flagrant foul to put him down. I am not saying that NY weren't good. They were good thats why they came all the way to final and won. My point is who should be awarded MVP in terms of overall peformance. nd please don't tell me Ny had more chance to score then MN, bro as you said you were busy playing, n all you could see was having ball all the time, at the end it was just the dream.

Minesota fan,

Don't whine here.

As you know that NYC is in tristate area and some of players do live in new jersy and connecticut side which is about 40 minutes to one hour drive from the practice field.

But there was not a single player in roster who did not practice regularly with soccer team. got it? for your inforation, there weere some excallent players in NYC but we did not put them in our roster coz they were not regularly in practice.

bhan0001,
what are you talking about? You said overall perfirmance counts to select the MVP. That guy you talking about, is a good player but he did not even play full game, he was doing in and out every 10-15 minutes.
