We are bad people- sacrificing animals, fake asylees, fake bank accounts, corrupted nation, andhabiswasi, rudibadi, dhungako pooja garne wadi ittyadi, Moiast war ma mareka soul haru plus Raja Rani ko aatma le sarapeko and very selfish in nature like afai khau afai lagau vanne khalko. I feel like nature is punishing us.

root cause : Hindu society and Hindu country!

This is an opportune time to practice Buddhism in philosophy and in dealings with each other. We need to learn to protect the environment. Implement zoning laws, sanitation initiative, building codes, public parks around every few blocks. Land along the banks of the rivers (100 metres from either bank of the rivers and streams or lakes or any natural body of water) should be zoned for public parks or something but no residential or commercial building. I don't really get it why that guy uses "prayala session" for one his threads related to music. But this is a real pralaya. We have to be resilient enough to rise from the rubble and build anew, even better and stronger and more united than ever.

We need to arrest all the political leaders of all 22 or 24 parties and put them in jail. And make them pay for their stay in the jail for dining and accomodation. Only Baburaam Bhattaraai and his wife should be set free.

Sushil Koiraalaa, the Cat, should be deported to Varanasi with some female escorts. He does look pretty deprived of "it" right from his youth days.

Don't shed a tear for so called raja rani. Their ancestors also connived and killed all the way to the top. But while they were alive, they did not just live in luxury, they lived like Gods and Goddesses while each of our very own ancestors had worries about the future of their family. It was Not Like Lord Vishnu appeared in front of all the Nepalese people and announced, "From today onward, he is my body double while on the royal throne". That never happened mm..mm (shaking my head).
The "Friday Night Lights" were occurrences like clock-work ( or rather calender-work) while the subjects in the far-off areas within the kingdom barely made enough to make ends meet. It was ironic, the Final Friday Night Light would be the occasion, the syndicate had to be decimated effectively, once and for all.

What is relation between building codes, zoning and other regulation and religion? Ofcourse there is issue with Nepali society. politics, governance and culture and it hunts us on and off. But what it has to do with religion. And Nepal is no more Hindu nation for close to 10 yrs, what difference it made. All society and religion can live in harmony, it's just human, and part of society that screws up. And stop bringing religion on everything, last thing any Nepalese want right now is debate over religion. But i am not in disagreement with regarding, Nepalese society, culture, and lack of moral values. But keep in mind, all these things has minimal value, at the time of survival, so please stop relating everything to religion for now.

So being Hindu ends you up in the most seismologically active place on earth? Now I'm no calculus teacher but this reduction does seem completely retarded.

Nepal gets quakes the same as The Phillipines gets typhoons, Bangladesh gets floods, Florida gets Hurricanes, Africa gets droughts and Sajha gets looneys like you.

Don't write dumb things unless you are dumb. In that case you are forgiven. Nature is not a person who punishes anyone. Nature is the sum total of physical chemical and biological laws that govern us. Earthquake is nothing but a natural progression of geological movements brought about by numerous factors.

To attribute such scientifically explained things to god, sati etc is just plain dumb.

@divorceguy, in that sense, why only us and why not India ? I think there are way more Hindus in India than nepal. who are selfish, who create super fake resumes , conservatives , corrupted mind . Don't blame on religion or a nation . There is no control over natural disaster however the condition becomes worse when it hits nation which is struggling with poverty, lack of education, lack of infrastructure and lack of leadership. If it had occurred in Japan or US or some other developed country, there would have been far less casualties. Blame it on past and present rulers who led such a beautiful nation into this mess . Thank god that its getting over . Imagine if the earthquake was of magnitude around 9 or 10. The whole nation would have been wiped out. Wish these leaders will learn a lesson from this event and come up with strong laws and regulations to lessen damage done through such horrific disaster in future.

Some people never change. They take every opportunity to troll and spew nonsense even during the natural calamity like Earthquake.

@divorceguy -- irrespective of our goodness or badness, Nepal will get a major earthquake every 70-80 years because of our geographical location.
