I got suspended from graduate school (not a league college but pretty good one) cause of not maintaining 3.0 GPA. It was this one stupid class that was not even required that I happened to take in my first semester. My seniors adviced me to take it. Now that I couldn't get it doen in second attempt, I have been suspended. I passed other 3 of the courses easily in B's.

But I know my potential. I want to further my education and I am looking for options to apply to for Fall 2013. I can't let my hardwork of 4 years go down the drain!!  I applied to other PhD programs but haven't heard from them till now which makes me go for safer options. Can anyone suggest universities in scienc discipline that are easy to get into and provide assistantships and still have deadlines open?? M.S program is an option. I have a 3.6 GPA in my undergrad, lots of research and teaching experiences. I think my current research advisor is not putting in a good reccomendation for me. I haven't been able to contact my undergrad proffesors.

What should I do? Constructive advice would be highly appreciated.

I faced the similar situation and I know how it feels. One of the course chosen for me by my advisor sucked my life.  But I maintained my grade in the 2nd semester by getting 2 A's. It's not an easy job to find a very good school after you get suspended in a program because it may give you some negative impression. So, if I were you I'd look for grad schools in mountain states like, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Dakotas etc where getting admission is little easier. Good luck bro!!!
