KATHMANDU, Feb 14: CloudFactory, a technology start-up based in Kathmandu, on Thursday announced vacancies for 5,000 part-time data entry operators by the end of this year.

The enterprise with 80 full time staff and nearly 600 part-time operators, mostly college students, organized an event at Big Cinemas, Kamal Pokhari to make the announcement.

“This growth is a real testimony to the level of talent in Nepal. We have an amazing world class group of software engineers that have built our software and a dedicated group of data entry operators, all in Nepal,” Mark Sears, the chief executive officer at CloudFactory said.

“We are excited with the announcement as it creates employment opportunities by offering meaningful contribution to poverty alleviation,” Radhesh Pant, Chief Executive Officer at Nepal Investment Board, said in the event.

Interest aspirants can take the initial test at CloudFactory and form a team of 8 people to apply, the CloudFactory said.

Sounds a good news.

A good promise is provided by Nepal Government, there will uninterrupted  flow of water and 24/7 power supply as well a promise not to from an UNION and no strike or demand for first 10 years. (What do you think about the trend of forming UNION even in 4-5 people home based organization?)
