I have a old wireless router and thinking of taking to home. Is it compatible in Nepal?

Should be fine if you have DSL there.
Just make sure you have a power adaptor that can handle 220v supply. Or else you can take a pack of rechargable batteries to tie up along with it to whatever volt your router uses. It's pretty handy in Nepal with all the load shedding that you can use your router even during load shedding.

It will work. All the newer wifi versions support the g network. However, the speeds will depend on the connection, if its 56k then you might have a problem, if its broadband you will be fine.
