Please help Status Issue

Here is my case, I am in H4 under my wife dependent. This semester both of us were trying to go for F1. We file our petition and got RFE on both. My wife (H1) respond RFE through her international office but I respond mine by myself (as my international advisor ask me to). When I respond, I forget to attach my RFE letter. I realize 1 month later and rush to my international advisor and she ask me to resend it agian overnight. But what she told me was, I will be out of status if my wife F1 approved before mine.

So my questions are
Did I do the right thing by sending them again ( even though it is after the due date but before 60 days.
If it get denied, is there any alternative to save my status.

I feel your stress but since you already sent your documents followed by some more docuents,I would not listen to what the advisers has to say cause half of them don't know what they are talking about.

Ma pani testai sohdai chu. Tara document kasari banaune bhanera taha chaina. timi lai kehi taha cha bhane bhana. sarai, tension bha cha yaar. 2 sem ma master pani saakna la ko theye yaar.
