I have been waiting for canadian immgiration. I had done my medicals this may, but still havent received any words from them. I know that the next step for me is that they will ask for my passport.
How long do you think is the time it wil take for them to ask for our passport. ??? Its already been 3 months since i have sent them my medicals and still havent heard from them..
any one who has immigrated to canada can you please advise me about the timeline.....somtimes get little frustrated about why it is late....for us....

I had applied to Buffalo office and have heard that they have closed the buffalo office ....dont know where the file is now....

For me.. it just took couple of month after medical. I don't know what's the reason for holding u guys so long. U can email them and ask about progress.. good luck guys...
I got my PP request within 90 days after Medical.

i truly appreciate it....i checked my emails and i saw that they have received my medicals on April 19th, that means its been 3 months now... so i think i should receive my request soon i guess....
just wondering.. after we send them our passport for stamping, how long will it take to receive the passport.. is it the same like 3 months etc...how soon will i be able to travel to Canada....

Its easy to apply for Canadian Immigration......previoulsy it used to take within a year but now its taking 2-3 years to apply for immigration.. but i have heard that when you apply for other regions such as Quebec etc and some other critieria you will get your PR within a year or so i heard...
go to this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp, it will give detail information about where to apply and how to apply... and read forums on immigraiton on applying to Canda.. it will help you a lot.. and come to sajha and ask requestions .. our fellow sajhaites will reply.. one or the other..

sorry about late reply.. my visa office is Buffalo but now they have shifted to other place as i have heard that they have closed the buffalo office ... so i think that it will take much longer now....
by the way.. which visa office have to applied to and which city is your port of entry.. if everything goes fine..we might be togehter to enter Canada....

Graduated with Bachelors of Information Technoloygy last year and I am thinking of applying for Canada PR. I did some research about the point based PR but it seems that with IT degree it will be very hard to make 67 points.(Since IT is not there in the Skilled Workers Shortage List) What are the other options to apply PR?
