I need help to jailbreak ( if possible unlock too) my iphone 4 , version 4.3 with baseband 4.10.
I heard that we cannot jailbreak earlier versions?? is that true?

iPhone gurus, help me to jailbreak n unlock my phone.

  You can definately jailbreak it with redsnow but unlock is only possible with gevey sim card as of now. You can get'em on ebay for less than $10.

Use the latest version of absinthe. It's way easier than redsnow. I personally suggest not to upgrade to the latest iOS versions of iPhone if u want to save your unlock! However there are some methods that lets you save your baseband 4.10.** so that the gevey unlock will still work!!

You can jailbreak with Absinthe. Just upgrade your ios while preserving baseband so that you can use geveysim. Or, ask someone with ATT account to unlock your iphone. ATT now unlocks iphone if the phone is out of contract. Anyone with active ATT account can do it. I already unlocked 2 iphones with ATT. Good luck.
