CIvil Engineering Master's Program without GRE Requirement...
Hi,
Does anyone knows a good Civil Engineering Master's Program that doesn't require GRE?
I'd appreciate the info.
Thanks!
CSU Fullerton, accepts without GRE....a Nepalese faculty is also there...this is okay kind of school... try it out..
Hey strike-king
yes CSU fullerton, they may ask u TOEFL though. Contact Pro. Binod Tiwari if u want to know more.
Hey moss, u sound like u r from CSUF, r u??
San Jose state university.
Thanks a lot moss, lapid and rahashya for the info! Appreciate if you guys can pass info about any nepali students doing masters -civil engineering in these uni?
BTW, I checked CSU Fullerton but the fee looks a bit expensive for international students. Are there any programs that have in-state tuition fees for international students (for master's civil engineering programs)?
Appreciate a lot!
I m graduate student here in CSUF but mine is electrical engineering. I know few people in civil engineering but as i told u, the best person to talk with is Professor Tiwari. He might help you out regarding in-state tuition and everythingelse.
Before u make any decision let me tell u the truth
-fee hikes up almost every semester due to budget cut
-living expense is so high (1 bed room cost around 1000, as a paying guest around 500)
-hard to find roommate unless u feel good sharing room with indians
-u feel like heaven if u consider weather n offcourse u'll get a chance to hang up with hollywood celebs in malibu n venice beach
I m not trying to scare you, just telling u the truth. Talk to the department, they might provide you tuition waiver.
@ Lapid - I am not from CSUF, I am from UCLA...I just came to know about Prof. Tiwari from some other person from my work...
@Strike-king - all schools in CA are expensive when you have to pay international student fee (even for residential students)... I will suggest to give GRE and apply to other schools...even if you get low scores, some school will accept you where tuition fee is low and living cost is relatively cheap...
