Any Nepalese residing in TROY,ALABAMA ?I am coming out there for a week so need someone to show me around and give me some useful TIPS on where to go and where not to.
Why are you goin to Troy, AL. That is Jumla of USA. There is nothing other then the University. Mongomery is, I guess more than hour drive and Atlanta, one of the biggest city in US is 6-7 hours drive. There is nothing specific to see. I think Jumla is far better for scenic view.
Dude, you don't need nobody to to show you around in Troy. There is nothing to see. Get into the car, drive around and you would be done in 10 minutes. All you see is fast food restaurant, Walmart across HYW 231, few grocery stores and ofcoure TSU.
Yeah its a small town. Nothing is there ....bunch of rednecks and bama fans!
haha. I got a huge chuckle when I read the posts. I guess the state that I went to school at isn't that bad.
If you can manage a car you can visit troy in less than 2 hours.
All we Nepalese Jump the Gun too early and very prematurely and also have the habit of Prejudging people without know the FACT. I am not going there to ENJOY or hang around, my company is flying me over there for couple weeks so I am trying to find places to CHILL and RELAX when I am OFF WORK.
why don't you google it.its easier
There are few Nepali left in Troy, al. If you need to talk with them just visit Troy university then you will get at least one to talk with.... Contact international student center as some of them still work on campus.
Hope this help, this state is not that bad as they mentioned above...
Have a great time
God bless
