how did you came across sajha ?
since some of us take sajha so seriously i believe there must be some story to share about how and under what circumstances you guys came to know about sajha. lets share that story here in this thread and take a little break from what we have been seeing in sajha lately. my story goes like this
i was the only nepali in my university and after first few weeks i got so exhausted trying to act and speak like my friends, all i needed was a portal full of nepali helping, cursing, bashing, humiliating( and what not) each other. i looked up everywhere and found this amazing website on my own, so i must give credit to myself for disoverin
g this. and so far i am having a fun journey
I like sajha because there is lot of freedom and not much intervention by admins. In other Nepali sites, owners try to promote themselves and try too hard to be active.
Thumbs up for sajha from my side
Knew abt sajha before but I actually was not into it. With all the relationship problems and emotional disturbances I ended up deactivating fb and became a regular "customer" of sajha. I am liking it so much and I get updated almost every hour on my phone. I used to Facebook for hours and came up with nothing knowledegeous, informational, or humorous. With sajha I get that all in just a page. I get disappointed with "filthy", "shitty", "abusive" comments or words that people use and when people constantly attack another user just because they have another opinion. Overall, I am having fun an it has become my favorite pastime.
back when mtv was for music videos, everyone had hi5 and sajha.com was gbnc.org. it was some website that redirected me here. i was just looking for nepali websites and found this site very interesting and fun! back then i was mostly in humor section, chatroom and read short stories.
thumbs up to admins to make necessary changes/updates and keeping this site alive!!!

keep it coming people...share if ya all have somthing more interesting than the one already mentioned
I first came across Sajh on Summer of 2002, after ANA DC. Met lots of cool people and made good friends.
Similar to the original poster, I was lonely at my university and googled for nepali websites. found this one with good nepali articles to read and pass my time. Back in 2004
I knew about sajha long time back it was in 2003 i guess then I was in nepal.and was jsut intrested read cmments. Some of the things I never understood at that time.
But couple of years back I am in sajha for everything and have been using for every thing, from looking for room anf roommate to geting solution tp most of my problem.
I found all the room and roommate here in US from sajha. The best thing I like about sajha and it's sajhan are we are united and never interfere with others privicy.
KUDOS SAJHA and
जय नेपाल, जय साझा !!!!
Interesting post... I was in some chat room and a lady named Sitara surfaced there. She invited me to visit Sajha chat room. That was the beginning of Sajha Yatra...
Interestng...
cant remember exactly.... but it was back in 2005...
I guess I was told by someone about www.wnso.org ans someone from there was talking about SAJHA and I came to check what the hell was that man talking about..... since then i got stuck with SAJHA.... dont even know if wnso.org still exists...
Sajha is definitely my favourite timepas... even tops facebook....
favourite timepass indeed gyanguru... been yelled at, banned, swored and what not but thats what i reckon the beauty of sajha is.... and BTW its been little over an year since i first came to sajha
@Jhingedau : ur nick reminded me of a card game that we used to play, is that where it came from ??? jsut asking coz that is one nasty game
i started with sajha shoutbox...
Have been on it since gbnc.org days before it became Sajha.com. I think it was 2000/2001. Good times!
Btw, anyone here from those days?

Ma ta geology tiger dai le ekchoti sajha.com hereko dekhyathe ani ghar aayera hereko ani tyai bata...
Apart from the distracting banners, flash and popups, and the some annoying users ( I might have been at times). It reminds me of kalanki ko bhitto and the annoying users are sometime reminiscent of the noisy crowd at kalanki . But apart from these sajha is overall good. Like what it delivers.
Came across sajha at around 2003 or like that. Back then there was nothing much in Internet from Nepal apart from nepalnews chat, cybersansar, partynepal.com. I remember someone pasting sajha on public chat. That's how.
I had moved to a new city. And my cousin told me about this forum--back when it was known as gbnc.org.
