How to reduce power of eye glasses?

Anybody please kindly provide some advices to reduce the power of eye glasses. Its currently -2.5. Please dont tell i should go to doctor. Some valuable advices will be noted highly.

Sashan-bro,

Depending on the model, your eyeglass should have a little knob on the right arm of the frame. It is very small and easy to miss. Take a hard look and once you find it, rotate that knob counter-clockwise until the power of the glasses meets your needs. You will probably need a really tiny screw-driver.

-ve power (diverging lenses) is to help the myopic eyes move the focal point further away to the correct desired position to give clear distant vision. So try not to use them while reading or straining your eyes while concentrating on something very close to your eyes while those glasses are on. This tends to get your eyes used to that -ve power that you have on and the next thing you know is that you need more power. By not using them for the purpose that they are not supposed to be used for,,you can atleast have your power stop at where they are right now if not improve them.

use glasses only when you have to i.e. looking at far objects.
-2.5 is not that bad, don't be scared. my cousin had -6.5; she's now 12 or 13 and her power has decreased to -4.5
how? well...we used herbal medicine as eyedrops (oil from white onion + pure honey) for about 6 months or so and it worked.
