How can we be fit and healthy - Physically and Mentally?
I need some good suggestions.
Good suggestions on dieting.
BTW I eat dal, bhat, tarkari once a day.

We all been talking about politics, immigration, status and stuff.
lets talk about getting better mind

Eat less rice, lots of vegges and workout atleast 1 hour a day.

Eat WHATEVER you want -- do not ignore your yearnings, lest you feel deprived, thus mentally unwell -- but do so in moderation. Smaller portions. Keep calories in mind!

Mentally, there's no better way than meditation. DHYAAN!

Your weight, you want to gain weight or lose, You vegan or mamsahari, Hours/day you can work out and stuff!!

Actually I am alreay on to my workouts, but can't get a nice looking body.
I have been doing this for a year now.

Also , now I have my own treadmill and some equipments too.

I am 5'6' and 165pounds. I just want to lose 10 pounds. Thats all my objective is.

I do drink a light beer sometimes ..usually during wknds and eat chicken most of the times of the week.
So, I don't know man, I need some good help on eating and work out..both

 Pasa, listen your goal should be decrease FAT% and Increase Lean Muscle (this is FIT and Healthy), not just losing weight!!

Treadmill is good for Cardio/Running (set a Goal, Marathon or Half Marathon and Train for that)!!
Weights are good for strengths training, and I would add 45lbs (or 35 min) Kettlebell in your goodie list!! (search for CAP Kettlebell in Amazon)

So what about the workouts, variation is the key!! Everytime challange yourself, don't make your workouts monotonous!!

Run, Squats(free or with weights (Front,overhead,back),  Kettlebell swing, Pullups, Burpees, over head pushups, 24" jump are few exercise you can incorporate easily with the equipment you have!! ( you can get in touch with me so I can help you set up your routine if you are interested)

for an example: 5 Rounds of ---> Run 400M then15 Pullups,10 Over head Pushups, 20 24" jump , 20 Squats,and 20 KettleBell Swing!! (you can substitute kettlebell with dumbells but best is to get Kettlebell) make sure you work out in HIGH INTENSITY!!

or create your own workout based upon equipment you have!! or practice WOD from www.crossfit.com/

Diet: Protein (Fish/Meat/Chicken/Paneer) make sure you eat atleast once a DAY!! and Recovery drink is must after a WORK OUT!!

About me: I am a Marathoner and Currently training for Triathlon, and have been trained under Crossfit Trainer for 6 month!!
