प्रसिद्ध हास्यव्यङ्ग्यकार भैरव अर्यालको  “मपाईं”

‘तँ’को आदरार्थी ‘तपाईं’ भएजस्तै ‘म’को आदरार्थी ‘मपाईं’ हुन्छ। त्यसैले सभ्य भाषामा ‘तँ’को ठाउँ तपाईंले ओगटेपछि ‘म’को ठाउँ ‘मपाईं’ले नलिनु किन? ‘म’लाऐ संस्कृत वैयाकरणहरुले उत्तम पुरुषको श्रेणीमा पुज्दै आएका छन् भने अरु भाषामा पनि ‘म’को स्थान प्रथमै छ। त्यसैले हामीले पनि बाह्रखरी पढ्दैदेखि ‘म’लाई राम्रो ‘म’ भनी मान गर्दै आएका छौं। जब सँगैको ‘तँ’ जाबोले पदोन्नति पाई ‘तपाईं’ भयो भने ‘म’लाई पदोन्नति दिई ‘मपाईं’ नगराउनु पच्चीसै आना पक्षपात हो, ‘म’प्रतिको अन्याय हो। यसकारण अरुले ‘तपाईं’ भने पनि नभने पनि हामीले आफूलाई ‘मपाईं’ भन्नै पर्छ, यो युगको माग हो; ‘मपाईं’को मन्तव्य यस्तै छ।
