How to get Police Report from US

Hi everyone !

I got this problem with obtaining Police report from united states. Actually I was in united states for one year from 2008 to 2009. and now I am apply for Canadain immigration and they asked for police report from US as i stayed more than 6 months. Now i m residing in nepal. I have also asked US embassy recently about it but they said. Embassy is not responsible for Police Report what so ever.

While going thru internet, i have seen that i need to send request form with fingerprint to FBI. But i m not pretty sure about it. so anyone can help me out with this problem, Please do so. I am into complete dilemma. Noone in nepal have any idea about it. Thanks!

Dude, download the fingerprint data form from the site. Get your fingerprinting done properly. Do it thru some professional. It is not like soak your finger in ink and press it straight on paper. You need to roll from side to side. Send two copies so that if one fail another will work

..... To FBI division in west Virginia with 18 dollars fee ( since you r in Nepal, complete the credit card authorization form) and enclose with your fingerprinted form.

Don't forget to write "please expedite required by mm/DD/yyyy (28 days from today or when you require)
Reason: Canada immigration
They will process quickly otherwise will take upto 13 weeks,

I did took my fingerprint of all my digits from Nepal Police Headquater. They gave me one copy of it. And I also made money draft of 18$ in the name of US Treasury as it says in Internet from Investment Bank.

I am planning to attach cover letter with it. So I guess that will be all. I ll definitely write "please expedite required by mm/DD/yyyy" like u said.

Google and find where they do finger printing close by your physical location. I did in city office. They have a police unit there. Have to pay 15 or 20 dollars not sure exactly now. But less than 30 dollars. You will get the report after 4-6 weeks after running finger print against the Federal database in W Virginia.
