DD-SH: No matter how smart we try to be they will out smart to us because they have been trying that every day and will come with new ideas. International travel must use TSI approved lock otherwise if they are suspicious during the scan they will break the lock and your baggage travel without lock.

Now this TSI approval key is making these thieves much easier because it has universal key and easy to unlock.
It is very easy to figure out who is travelling from where and they are like the sniffing dog.
Button line do not put valuable in your luggage bag.

Simpleman, one of my friend travelled Nepal somewhere around May 2010 from US. One of his luggage was missing and he was asked to come another day for pick up. When he returned the other day, he found 2 laptops and 2 cell phones missing from his luggage. He reported about it but he never succedded getting those stuffs back. Sad he said to me, "Sabai Chor Bhaye Pachi Sabai Mile Pachi Kasko K Lagcha Ra?". He said to me, "These things are happening everyday in KTM airport". There were other guys also returning from US who had their stuffs missing. So, I ask everyone to be very careful and ask all never to keep expensive itmes in luggage. For expensive items, handcarry would be the best.
