you already know the solution. Just record in your laptop with sound recorder.

if you can tell us what phone is it, it would be easier to help you find the easier way to do that.

Thanks for all friends who tried to solve the problem with great interest. Still my problem is some what unanswered. Soundfeelings.com is very expensive although it is looking like free from outer appearance (website). Google.com/googlevoice needs email address ending with .edu and I don't have email ID ending with .edu. My cellphone service provider is verizon and set is LG vx5200. Still I'm wating for nice idea if you have.

Hey buddy, the one whose username is _ i have a question for you.. I was not aware of the google voice message but after you said in sajha, i've opened one and i liked it a lot. It infact gives the script also but i didn't understand one thing. When we signed up for google voicemail, does every voicemail goes in google inbox or what?? Does that mean the voicemail of our cell phone doesn't work anymore?? Because after i open an account, i tried it and it directly went to my google inbox only, it's not in my cell phone voicemail. please let me know if you have any idea about it.. Thanks..

BD bro,

In short, you can choose where you want your voicemail to be stored.

In your case,  probably "do not disturb" mode is enabled (is it default?, not sure). To fix it, go to settings > voicemail and SMS and play with several features there. Trial and error should solve your problem.

Or, spend some time watching google voice videos at https://www.youtube.com/user/GoogleVoice

There are several features you will just say "wow"

Lastly, sending SMS (text) to Nepal is FREE (probably Beta, but it works)

_ bro, thank you soo much. I went through the link and found it very useful too but still i couldn't solve my problem because when i go to the settings, it was supposed to give me option for voicemail & sms as you've said and so does the video but on my account it just says voicemail only. I dont know, may be i will check back tonight, since i am at work right now.. Thank you anyways _ bro...
