Help: F-1 students & Cruise
I have never been on a cruise so i am planning to go. But as a F-1 there are too many restrictions. If we go on a cruise to Carribean islands for couple of days do we need to get a visa or any permit? also, what are the documents we need to carry along with us? (just checking if we have to carry our I-20s & passport,I-94 since we will be leaving US)
I would appreciate your inputs.
Yes, you;ll need em all. Some of my American buddies got a 99 bucks ( round trip ) cruise deal from Miami to Bahamas but they couldn't go coz they didn't have their passports w/ them. You won't be allowed back without a valid I-20, documents or visa/passport.
You might wanna email a cruise company or check their websites.
