need contact lens, don't have preion
hi
I need contact lenses. I also know my power and brand that I used to use. But I don't have prescription. Do any of you know where can I buy lenses without prescription. your suggestion is really appreciated.
As far as I know, it is illegal for a company to sell contact lenses without verification. Having said that, I am sure there are some online sites that let you do that (google please) . If I were you, I would try to find someone who has the same prescription and ask him/her to buy the lenses for me. What's your brand and power?
Will I get in legal trouble if I buy contact lenses without a copy of my prescription?
- You won’t break any laws, but the company is selling you a
prescription device as if it were an over-the-counter device. In legal
terms, this misbrands the device. The company is also violating FTC
regulations by selling you contact lenses without having your
prescription. For more information, see the The Contact Lens Rule: A Guide for Prescribers and Sellers.

if you know the power of the contact lens then just go online and buy it, you can get cheaper online. Also some manufacturers offer rebates.
Just remember though, the power of the glass and contact lens are different.

Je man ma ayo bhanyachha. A seller doesn't need to verify sh*t for selling lenses. The only reason they ask for it is coz they need specs to order one. If u have ur old contact box, u will find ur prescription on the box. As the last post stated, u can buy it online.

Good response an I retract my comments. Although I am still right since it is not illegal, atleast u gave a knowledgeable response. This is strange since 1800 contact has been in the businness for a while and openly adverises what I told above.

try justlenses.com. I haven't tried it yet but it doesn't seem to require a prescription. You just need to know the BC and power. Good luck
common guys....go to walmart's eyecare...check ur eyes..they'll write u a prescription
they charge like 50 bucks
Last I heard, Walmart's vision center was like $105 for the most basic contact lens eye exam (that is, if you don't have any complications like astigmatism or whatever). The cost could vary by location I guess.
