Filing Green Card for Parents
Hello Friends,
I became US citizen few months back. My parents are here in Tourist visa since one month now. Can I file for there green card (I-130) now or do I have to wait 90 days before I can file for them? Also do I file adjustment of status (I-485) together or do I need to wait for this?
Some webstie said I have to wait 90 days but some said 30 days is fine. Can you guys please advise?
Thanks in Advance!

Hi Neel Dai, Dont file now file it when you get the Citizenship. I filed for my parents in 2003 and my parents came to USA in 2007. Soon after they arrived here they received Social Security. Good Luck!!
File the paperwork after you become a US citizen. Visit the USCIS website http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis or call the following number, they will guide you. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SPEND MONEY ON LAWYERS WHILE FILING THESE PAPERWORKS. The whole process is real easy and you can do it yourself with out any problems.
