I have a brand new Motorola Cliq (T-Mobile) going for $300.00. You can unlock it and use it with any service provider. Let me know if you are interested. The phone is in Washington DC.

I have the new HTC Google Nexus 1. I had an iphone 3GS before this one and i think its better than an iPhone in every way, except the number of apps. So if you are not a app crazy person, consider Nexus one by Google. Excellent phone... highly recommended.. much more features than an iPhone yet it can do everything an iPhone can (except the 140,000 apps, of course).. but the andriod market does have about 20,000 apps.. enough for me.

I haven't had any of the problems described above. I have an unlocked Nexus, and i am using it with AT&T.. so most of the above described problems doesn't pertain to my phone.
Of course iPhone is iPhone.. i loved my iPhone.. I am just saying Nexus 1 is as cool as an iPhone... and maybe a little bit more.

Well, i think more than what phone you want to use, you should first think about what carrier you want. And when you decide a carrier, then see what phones you can get from that carrier. If the phone you like isn't offered by the career, then try buying an unlocked one.

This shall help you decide :)

Take care.

nexus one is far better than iphone. who needs 100 versions of fart aps? if you want fart app i am sure android marketplace has it but not 100 versions of the same app. also it has faster processor, rumour for flash support. after that sites like hulu etc is not off limits. it has removable battery, expandable battery,m bigger better screen.

Nexus one is a good phone to have but I would not use it for ATT as the phone would not use 3G it will be limited to it's EDGE. I will wait for some time such that Nexus one will support ATT 3G 850MHz band. Currently, it only supports T-Mobile's 3G network , which is so much limited within US. I would give Motorola Back flip a shot , only Droid phone on ATT network.Wait for March 7. and Happy shopping.

I know this will probably not happen but it would've been great if iPhone was available with Verizon.  iPhone is incomparable (I read that even Nexus One, with its superior chip, still ain't iPhone killer), but AT&T simply is not up to snuff.
