Is a ‘cook’ eligible for Canadian immigration?
Hi guys just need your help to apply for Canadian immigrant visa. Just say, I was cook in Nepal for 2 years. Recently I got graduated from Australia in ‘cooking’. Am I eligible to apply for a ‘skilled worker or professional’?
Do you guys know any lawyer so I can contact him/her?
Only serious response PLEASE.
Unless you have an employer sponsoring you, I don't think you would have enough points to qualify for Canadian PR if you wish to apply independently. Canada places a lot of weight on academic degrees (measured by number of years of formal education) and specific job titles. I don't believe Cook is one of them. Don't get yourself a lawyer. Read
www.cic.gc.ca first and after that make an educated decision whether to apply or not and whether to get a lawer as well.
never mind

if you have a certification from Culinary Institute of Australia, then apply at Sheraton Hotel & Resorts, NA. Washington DC location. Nepali Dai works at the hiring dept. Your GC process will start within a month. ( if you are out-of-statues in US, no need to contact but if you have 245i or other current statues, good to go).
SIS my sis is doing bachelors in cullionology and this opportunity sounds good for her...can you give me more details???
