Binita Maharjan bagged the first gold for Nepal on Sunday in the 11th South Asian Games.

Binita won the gold in wushu (Taolu's taichi chhwan) event scoring 8.85 points. India's Santogi Sahnu scored 8.55 and was behind Binita.
