If you check the AFI website I am sure it would mention a few of the following:
Lost in Translation, Airplane, Odd couple, Laurel and Hardy, Wrongly Accused, Scary Movie series, Dumb and Dumber etc.
But I think the smartest, funniest, sexiest has to be Austin Powers series by far. Mike Myers is a genius who was destined to rule over this realm.
My all time favorite is,
My Cousin Vinny
@Mr Hyde: I am also big big fan of Austin Powers. I think that was a clip from International man of mystery.
But Lost in Translation: Is that a comedy movie? I slept while watching that movie....
Graduate, The House Bunny, Accepted are some fun movies not mentioned above.
I don't understand this big debate about giving NRNs dual citizenship or not. Come on, people. They are our own people.
We could blame them for leaving country but is it entirely their fault. Migration is a global phenomenon. People migrate towards a place of more opportunities. Some of us may not succeed in that process and may be bound to our original location despite our will. But can we use that grudge against our own people.
I believe NRNs do have a stake in Nepal and would always be willing to do for the betterment of Nepal if assured their effort and money would not go to waste or pocketed by some corrupt politicians.
Voldemort,
Is that a plot off a movie or a dialogue ( excerpt ) off a movie?
Mr. Hyde, Lost in Translation isn't a comedy movie.
My bad, Lost in Translation had a couple of funny moments if I remember right. 'Twas more of a drama, I must acknowledge. But pretty impressive movie direction it was, from the Godfather's daughter, Ms Coppola.
Yeh, had to see it for one of my classes called "World Cinema".
There were some funny scenes - Japanese speaking English, and other "embarrassing" moments that the Americans go through while they're abroad, something us Nepalese could relate too.
Didn't think the movie had any element that was good enough to earn a nomination for Oscar though.
Bruce Almighty
Hangover
Forest Gump
