Google Docs Automatically Translates Documents into 42 Languages
Hi Happytillidie,
The information you gave is really interesting. Could you please write it simply the procedure, how can I change english text to some other selected language ?
Thanks in advance.
Sure Sajhabahadur,
First you need to log on to google docs via the following link:
docs.google.com with your gmail account
Then in the documents section,
1. Click on New and then click on document.
2. Then paste your content on the document.
3. Then click on Tools and translate and choose your desired language. Thats it!!!
but the translation is usually not correct... My coworker tried it..
Here is how it translates..
For, I eat rice = Ma khanchu bhat.
It might have changed now,, but that is how it was when she was using this application.
Nevertheless, it is really useful in emergency situations where grammar is not an issue.
Thanks Happytillidie, now I succeed.
You are welcome SB.
Please share other tools which help English to Nepali conversion and vice versa.
Yes Google should also make one which helps Nepali language conversions.
I also did not see Nepali language conversion in Google Docs.
Because of this translation facility, English is changed into Chinglish in China especially in public areas. For example: 'If you are stolen, call the police at once' meaning 'If you are lost, contact police'. It is a small example.
I also had some problems but I think at least we should thank google for providing such facility for free.
42 LANGUAGES...BUT NOT OURS...NEPALESE.!!!!!! SO WHATS THE POINT. ..
ITS LIKE TELLING SOME CHEAP "X" AIRLINE GOES 42 COUNTRIES BUT NOT NEPAL..WHATS THE POINT.
