Nepali movie by a Korean Director(Children of God)
Children Of God (where the dead have more value than the living)A great documentary by a Korean director,Seung-jun Yi starring a kid star Alesh Poudel, a heart wrenching reality of our so called "Khaatey" kids. Kudos to his effort although the narration could be better, but still better than anything I've seen lately from our movie industry. Here's an excerpt from Netflick
"Director Seung-jun Yi's poignant documentary chronicles the lives of desperate children scraping for sustenance along the banks of the Baghmati River in Nepal, a sacred site where the ashes of the dead are scattered. Through the eyes of 12-year-old Alesh Poudel and others, cameras capture the heartbreaking realities of river survival, which includes pillaging corpses for food and retrieving coins tossed into the river as funeral offerings."

Koreans know how to touch their audience. Some of the contents are GRAPHIC in nature, and viewers discretion is advised. This documentry will shake you and makes you realize that you are taking your life for granted.
