This is for all of the Lamar Graduates!

I am thinking about joining lamar University. Do I have to have GRE? If yes, how much do we have to score in each section?

Thanks a lot guys

GRE is must
but your minimum GRE requirement to get instate tuition ,depends on department

In engineering in general, they look for 700+ in quantitative to get instate tuition waiver

if you need any information, feel free to write
good luck

u need to meet all the minimum requirements like  toelf or ielts whatever/ financial documents/ recommendations/ sop...
and if u were in States, the deadline for this Fall was 15 July

i can assure if you have 720 + in GRE math, you will get instate tuition waiver..
i have some friends getting instate with < 700 as well...:-)

Lamar is good for engineering courses but Computer Science at Lamar sucks. They will put you with 5 Prerequisit courses. Dont go to lamar for MS in CS , it will take 3 years or more to graduate.

Look for other univ , there are many which would offer you instate with 720+ quantitative GRE score.

Thanks all of you. Really appreciate your input.

One more thing do we have to translate % into gpa?

How much is the regular tuition fee without waiver?

Thanks again
