I think my desktop is infested with virus so much so that even while using my internet or explorer the web page says it's jumping. In other  words I can't even go to the desired web page. eg if I go to youtube it takes me to goole. I want to install the antivirus but the cd/dvd drive does not work either. Am I Doomed??? I have a DVR that needs to work , can someone help me????

do u have a USB drive? if u have one, try to install the antivirus program from the safe mode thru USB drive, if u aren't able to online from the regular a/c, and reboot the computer and run the full scan from the normal user account. hope it helps. and get the IE s**t outta ur computer. I recommend firefox/chrome.
