सबैलाई  नभनु , केही,  यि पाइलाट भनौदोहरुले त air hostess लाई पनि plan भित्रनै बलात्कार गर्छन् as I heard ।  But, not all pilots are bad. If this comment offenses any of you guys, sorry for this bitter truth !!!

Well  ! Actually i can see some humor on that .
Deshbhaktanrpali ji ,Just FYI " tyo 24 hrs hoina ". The saying goes " 8 hr's between bottle and throttle " . Oh and the Cap and co  wont get grounded for life . He might go through some investigation , but not grounded for life . Dont know the circumstances , but if they were not flying , and were drinking after sunset , then thats does not go into the juridiction of Civil aviation . They coulddo a blood test the next morning and check their alcohol in the blood , but not much civil aviation can do in this .
Whatever action happen's , has to be done by Nepal airlines and their managment .
Anyway' pilot23 , keep the sky safe bro .

pilot23 jee,
"pilot haru vaneko doctor engineer haru vandai badi mature hunuparcha
bujhis..hundreds of people ko responsiblity liyera plane udaunu
parcha.."

I didn't want to butt in, tara engineer bhayeko natale tapaile maturity bhanera tesari pwakka lekheko thik lagena.
Aba engineer le plane ramrari design garcha ra po pilot le udaucha hoina ra? Engineer le plane design nagare pilot le ke udaune? That's like saying the greyhound driver has to be more mature than the mechanical engineers who design the engine. Btw the folks who design airplane engines have doctorates and 30+ years of experience. Aajkaal ta engineers le garda pilot nabhai auto pilot le pani plane udauna milcha re. Khoi ke ho.
Bhannle, sabaiko aafnai thau ma responsibility cha.

Peace,
FF.

to this stupid, Pilot_23

I think you are also one of the example of Nepalese Pilot, who acts and behaves like you !

Don't you see what I said, No offense !! I didn't say all pilots are like these mentioned above. I know what is Pilot and what they need to train before get in cockpit!!!!!!! But, I really know what most of these so called Pilots of Nepal. If you don't like these comments, you better shut your mouth.

Fortune faded ji !
Your post was so naive . May be u wanted to prove a point to pilot23 , but your argument saying , pilot bina pani plane udcha , bhanne chai ali milena ! Yes i agree , udcha , they are called UAV's . please keep in mind that they dont have people on board . The people who fly it , are guy's who have been educated on all aspects of aerodynamics and physiology of the drone .
You being an engineer should know better than comparing a pilot with grey hound driver . Since u brought up the issue about auto pilot , then let me explain you , that you need a certified person to engage it . Thulo plane haru ma flight engineer huncha , khai uniharu le ta ON garna mildaina , you still need a pilot .
Now as for having experience , of 30 + yr's . A lot of pilot start at 18 and retire at 65 . So now you could do the math .Kunnai pessha lai tala jharera kura garnu hunna . If you are an engineer , you should know , that without a pilot ur design are worthless , tessai gari without engineer's pilot's are in danger . Respect one to be respected .
Last , would you have your family on board an aircraft over atlantic ocean that has no pilot , but an engineer , who designed it , but is clueless about other aspects of flying ?
Just my 2 cents ....  I have been very respectful cause , engineer le diyeko jahaj , afno chori diya sarah huncha , ani pilot treats her like his girl ....

Peace

Nepalko bato ma gudne bus driver ra khalashi ko kasto reputation chha aba akash ma udne plane driver ko pani ustai behavior huna lagecha. Pilot bhaneko driver ta ho. Only difference is that they wear nice suits. If all bus drivers in nepal wore suits and goggles you can't find any difference between the two.

MAMBA jee,
may be you should have read my last sentence.
"Bhannle, sabaiko aafnai thau ma responsibility cha."

my point was not to ridicule pilots, but to point out that you can't go on saying pilots need to be more mature than engineers. I am also not saying the other way round either. Nor am I comparing pilots to bus drivers. It was just a metaphor. But my point is that everyone has their own responsibilities and we can't go around saying who needs to be more mature. Be it pilot, doctor, engineer, air hostess, or heck even the guy who runs the safety check before takeoff.

Peace,
FF.

Well, whatever their personal backgrounds, pilots do have a huge responsibility during duty-hours. That's why they are paid handsomely. If they start behaving like ordinary street fighters during duty hours, then it's a matter of concern and only aids to support the popular belief that they're essentially equivalent to their counterparts on the roads. In this case, as with any other domestic flight to a remote airport that operates only in the mornings, the pilots mush have flown back immediately after landing, and if they started fighting during that short time, then it only shows how irresponsibly were they behaving.

Anyway this incident is just another example of the failure of NAC management. Responsible behavior seems to be a forgotten entity across the staff hierarchy.

Jai hos!

What the hell is going on with most of you guys today?

Upon the news of pilots getting into a fist fight, you guys start dragging the profession of bus/truck drivers into the mire. No profession is lowly as long as it can make somebody else' day.

The initiator of the thread goes as far as blaming the management instead. If a sudden fight breaks out, how can the management step in instantly unless it is expected from the management to deploy bouncers around these pilots at all times.

In the case of these two knuckle-head pilots their high testosterone level took over their conscience and judgement. They should have become bounty fighters instead of flying airplanes in uniforms.

Still, to draw a fair conclusion, you have to get to the bottom of the whole matter.

First of all hats off to the Nepali Pilots who risk their lives everyday, flying in such a geographically dangerous, remote areas ( Fly to Lukla, you would know what I mean) with the limited technology and old air crafts, where the weather condition changes within the few minutes and IFR flying is not available in every Airport.

Had it not been for these guys, people living in the remote areas of Nepal whose connection to the outer world along with the daily necessities such as groceries, sanitary products would near impossible

Friends, don't blame profession, blame the individuals for their wrong doing. Can someone tell me one profession that do not have black sheeps?

More than anything the nepali mentality is to blame. This mentality is ingrained into our system. Afu nai hero bhanera prove garnu parne huncha sabailai.

All that is done in this thread is generalizing this and that profession and that is not what Nepal needs. The behavior shown by the pilot needs to be punished be it firing them or suspending them. Thats what we need. Every organization should discourage non professionalism.
