Hi guys, is there anyone who has got his/her H1B visa stamped in KTM recently? I have heard rumors that US embassy is taking a lot of time these days to give out their decision, does anybody have any info/experience on this ? I need to know as I am planning to visit Nepal this summer and have to get H1B visa from KTM...Thanks...
Hello Easylover,
Worry not from the rumors. If you are working for a legit company then there will be no probs with ur h1b stamping. I got my h1b stamped just last month. Just take ur paystubs, letter from employer, h1b approval notice from uscis, all past i20s. I would suggest you to get appoinment as soon as you reach Nepal. Also, don't forget to go to the labour department at new baneshwor to get employment approval stamp. They charged me RS 1000 for the stamp. Good luck!

Do we need to show financial documents like bank letter and statement for H1-B stamping as we generally do for applying student visa.
Thanks.
no financial document needed. If you want you can include ur w2 forms.
Yeh don't worry its all rumors that you have heard, if you are working for a legit company u sud not have any problems. Got mine stamped last month without any problem. It takes about 10 days for appointment from the time you apply in Nabil bank, went there right after i landed. For the employment approval stamp use a dalal. Its few bucks more but can be done in a day instead of the days.
Watch out of the Nabil Bank bitches taking your application form. They are bunch of snobs and act like they are employed by the US Embassy and your future is in their hands.
