With all revealed, and the naked truth of Prachanda lead maoist out there in public, how come all these political party continue to wrap up with them to form a new government. Shouldn't the moist leader be thrown in jail for treason? If this were to happen in any other place than in Nepal, what would be the consequences? I am not sure what the authority of the President is, but he should be able to take some step at least to investigate the video and sack Prachanda altogether.

With the video out in public other parties are seeing this as an opportunity to jump into a government. They don’t have the feeling of responsibility at all. How come they are still discussing with these terrorist about forming a new government.

Why they waited two years to release this video? What a timing.

it seems that caretaker pm is going to be rewarded by becoming pm again. forum is not a party, it's a bunch of people without idealogy; so it may support maoists again. if prachanda agrees to let katuwal continue his job, india may force other parties to work with Prachanda again.

Nobody seems to care about anything anymore. All this video havoc for nothing. Pranchande had enough guts to says that he will provide more video of killings in his order.  I think people who go for julus needs to put red hot chilli dust in their neta's ahole. May be this will get them started.

UN is already working out and going to ask Nepal to send Prachanda to face UN Court for his crimes. Don't worry.. it's coming.

"On Nepal, let me add that I am seriously concerned about the political situation. I call for dialogue and consensus to preserve and enhance the gains made from the peace process."

Like Girija got away with selling rivers, RNAC, and Constitution of Nepal over and over, and like king got away with slaving entire population, and like Army got away with killing Nepali people since Mahendra's rule, and like UML got away with all the killings during Naxalbari movement. Prachanda will get away with all the killings, cunningness, and the treason.

Dont you see how all the leaders are fighting for Prachanda's time to cosult with him everyday. Lol

Don't expect better Nepal. Nepal is heading towards Afghanistan. It might not change the government's face but the video will definitely change the stance of other parties on "Army integration". KP Oli faction of UML and Congress won't let it happen which Maoist has to do it anyhow.

Neither KP oli or congress gives a rats ass about what Prachanda did, if prachanda works towards making them the PM. If they get a chance they would rather sell off Nepal to the Bihari Thug.

I have never been in favor of a King being a ruler of a country. But given the circumstances in our country in recent years, I really cannot think of anything in parallel to kingdom. It is well understood that the president is now the head of state, but remember he also has to sit his a$$ in a power chair, meaning he would not have enough guts to take any kind of action against any corrupt political leaders. May be that is not everyday job of the president but given the fact the Prime Minister he sworn in was a terrorist, I think he should at least make an attempt to expel him from the post, and jail him. Prez did stop the firing of CoAs but that was only due to the interest of congress and other national and international parties. Nothing against the prez again. It will take many years to have a stable presidency. As he is the first prez, expectation from him was not much. Much of his authoritizes are still being studied.
With noone to run the country and give direction, wouldn't that be a failed state ?
