Bank Balance to invite parents for graduation ceremony
hey guys,
I am thinking to invite my parents to attend my graduation ceremony. They will be applying for VISA pretty soon. Does any body has any idea how much bank balance they have to show in their VISA interview in Nepal?
If some of your parents had recently came, please let me know the rough figure..
Thank you all in advance..
Dear
balbahadur,
Send the invitation letter from your school; if you have scholarship and working at the university, also send the original copy from your school; your own letter of invitation; the statement that you are in good standing in school; your transcripts; property evaluation back home; if your parents do have some money in the bank account, please prepare the statement from the bank too; your parents' social tie to Nepal so that the consulates are confirmed that your parents will return to nepal;
I hope this helps!
Thanks for your info...
Do u think recommnedation letter from Professor will leave a positive impact??

Are they gonna ask prove of sending money from Nepal to USA?
recently, in january . .. . .
though my mum didnt came here for my graduation but she applied just to visit me. She got the visa . . and she just showed 12 lakh . and for graduation invitation should have been more easy than as my mum did just to visit .. ..and as a student i didnt show any bank balance .. .
Hi guys,
I have two questions regarding inviting relatives for my graduation.
1. I have graduate assistantship, so I have regular income to show. Regarding bank balance, somebody told me that $2000 (per person) is enough to invite parents for graduation. Is bank balance of $4000 enough for my parents' visa application?
2. How many people can I invite? I'm planning to invite my cousin along with my parents.
I appreciate your suggestions.
